What we value....

I spent my whole career in the travel industry until Matt approached me in May 2016 about joining the Geller’s team and I haven’t looked back since.

What I love most about this job? The people, hands down!

I’m the youngest of six kids, and growing up in our house, cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs was non-negotiable thanks to my dad, the biggest Leafs fan you’ll ever meet. We’re still loyal supporters to this day… Go Leafs Go!

When I’m not working, I cherish weekends at the cabin with my daughter and my partner, Darren.

Office Manager

Jacqui Bell

Over the past 10 years, I have honed my skills and expanded my experience in administration, with a client-focused purpose. I have worn many hats from owning my own business, to working with non-profit organizations, to helping administer professional sports teams. All of which have given me a deep appreciation and understanding of business.

Geller's has been a dream come true for me professionally. The culture, people and leadership are all guided by the same principles that make me who I am: passionate, caring, quality driven, and fun. For me, working for Geller's is the culmination of my success and I am thrilled to be on this journey!

When I'm not working you'll often find me chilling out with my cats Benjamin, Arthur, and Ninja, with my partner watching our "british Shows" or heading to the lake to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Nature is my happy place!

Executive Assistant to the President

Cait Johnston

I’ve been in this industry since I was 15, starting at Geller’s by literally knocking on doors and saying, “Hi, I’m Matt, and I’d love to cut your grass.”

What keeps me going are the friendships I’ve built over the years with clients, staff, and vendors all working together to make outdoor living beautiful. Honestly, I rarely sleep because I can’t wait to wake up and get back to work!

In my humble opinion, the team we’ve built at Geller’s is the best damn landscape group in the industry. And the greatest joy of my life is watching my son Beano grow up alongside my amazing wife, Madison.

President

Matt Bell

With over 20 years of experience in the construction and landscaping industry, I bring not just knowledge but a deep passion to every project I take on.

For me, landscaping isn’t just a job it’s a craft. I love transforming spaces and take great pride in delivering finished projects that clients truly love and enjoy for years to come.

Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience across all aspects of landscaping, which means I’m comfortable tackling projects of any size or complexity.

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me relaxing at a dog park, exploring new places through travel, or hitting the ice for a good hockey game.

Business Development Manager

Matt Toews

For over half a decade, I've specialized in all things digital media from videography, photography, graphic design, branding and more. I can never pick just one interest as I'm interested in the whole field and always eager to learn. I consider myself lucky being able to do what I love.

Geller's has been a great place for me to flex all of my creative interests and strengths, never being limited to just one task. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new hobbies and spending time with my friends from movies and boardgames.

Visual Content Lead

Kevin La

Geller’s has always been my dream company to work for, and I’m beyond thrilled that it’s now my reality. What truly makes it special are the amazing people I get to work with every day.

With a background in marketing and recruitment, I’ve had the chance to dive into a variety of industries which range from hospitality and automotive to agriculture and startups.

Bringing brands to life and connecting the right people to the right opportunities is where I thrive.

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me curled up with a good fantasy novel or on the hunt for Winnipeg’s best cocktails. I also love fishing, spending time with my two cats, Captain and Sunday, and playing slo-pitch whenever I can.

Chief Marketing & Recruitment Officer

Lynn Tran

I started my career back in 1998, picking and shipping parts at a truck dealership. From there, I moved into shop cleaning and eventually got hands-on working on trucks.

What I enjoy most about my work is the challenge of solving problems on the wide variety of equipment in the Geller’s fleet. No two days are ever the same, and that keeps me motivated.

My proudest achievement so far is earning my Red Seal Journeyman Truck Technician certification, a milestone I’m really proud of.

Lead Mechanic

Jason Wait

I'm a Red Seal Landscape Horticulturist with over a decade of experience in urban farming and landscape maitenance. Every garden I come across excites me, and I'm always eager to learn more about plants and everything plant-related.

If you asked my mom, she'd tell you my love for flora has been clear since I was very young... maybe my flora-filled wardrobe was a hint of what was to come!

No matter if I’m caring for a formal garden or a prairie meadow, my goal is always the same: to help each space be its absolute best.

I’m passionate about creating unique, welcoming landscapes that pull people outside and inspire curiosity about the world around them.

Lawn Care Manager

Mat Mol

I started my career in 2012, cutting residential lawns before moving into the golf course industry, where I spent over six years honing my skills.

What drives me is making a real difference on every property I work on and seeing all our hard work and cultural practices come together to achieve one shared goal: total customer satisfaction.

I’m proud to hold a Red Seal in Landscape Horticulture and have also graduated from Fire Fighting College.

Off the clock, my beautiful wife and two little boys keep me happily busy every day.

Maintenance Division Manager

Jackson Mitchell

I’ve always loved working with my hands, and that passion drove me to earn my Red Seal certification from Red River College.

There’s something deeply satisfying about building structures that stand the test of time knowing that our clients will enjoy them for years to come makes every challenge worth it.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me out fishing, playing hockey, or winding down with a good movie night after a long day.

Carpentry Foreman

Tanner Bridge

I chose carpentry because it’s in my blood, my dad was a carpenter, so I’ve been around the trade my whole life.

What I enjoy most about my job is the incredible crew I get to work with every day and the chance to craft with high-end products that really stand out.

When I’m off the clock, you’ll usually find me at the park with my dog Molly, she totally rules!

Carpentry Foreman

Jagger martins

When I was 15, my brother Matt introduced me to the industry honestly, I didn’t really have a choice after that!

What I love most about this job are the people I get to work with and the chance to see unique projects come to life from start to finish. Every day brings something new and exciting.

My proudest achievement? Marrying my best friend and the love of my life. Oh, and I’m also a 3-time fantasy football champion and 2-time fantasy hockey champion so I like to think I bring a winning spirit to everything I do!

Project Manager & Estimator | Carpentry

Jesse Bell

I started out in lawn maintenance back in high school, then gradually expanded my skills into decks, fences, and landscaping.

Over time, I took on concrete restoration and installation, all valuable experience that eventually led me to specialize in pool installation.

I love every part of this work, but if I had to pick a favourite, it’s seeing the finished product and knowing our clients are happy and grateful. Watching a pool go from a big hole in the ground to a beautiful, fully functioning fiberglass oasis with all the important steps in between, it never gets old.

My proudest achievement, though, is becoming a father and watching my two kids grow up every day.

Pool Project Foreman

Sean Wilde

I got my start in landscaping at 17, and from day one, I knew I’d found something I love.

What keeps me coming back is the chance to work alongside great people and build some pretty amazing spaces. Honestly, what’s not to love?

Fun fact: I’m a huge fan of blues and rock music, it’s the perfect soundtrack for any project!

Landscape Foreman

Michael Patton

I’ve been part of the Geller’s team for the past five years, and making your property shine is what I do best!

My favourite part of the job is building patios, creating spaces where memories will be made for years to come, all while working in my favourite place to be: outdoors.

While Manitoba’s warm summer days are my dream work environment, once the cooler months roll in, you’ll almost always find me out on the ice, fishing every chance I get.

Mathew Gagne

Landscape Foreman

I joined Geller’s in 2019, bringing with me a love for working with my hands that started early, learning how to tile from my father. Those skills and values stuck with me, shaping the way I approach every project today.

While I enjoy all aspects of landscape construction, my true passion lies in hardscaping and masonry. I take pride in the details, ensuring every project is built to last and will bring joy for years to come.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me outdoors, guitar or drumsticks in hand, enjoying music and fresh air in equal measure.

Landscape Foreman

Stratton Pastetnik

I joined Geller’s in 2017, starting out in the maintenance division for four years before making the leap to landscape construction.

Seeing the incredible spaces we created inspired me to pursue my Red Seal in Landscape Horticulture, a milestone I proudly achieved in 2023.

What I love most about my work is the variety. Every day brings something new to learn and a fresh opportunity to bring unique landscape products into our customers’ yards, creating spaces they can enjoy for years to come.

Outside of work, I like to stay active, whether that’s hitting the gym at the local YMCA, playing football, or taking my dog, Leonard, out for a walk.

Landscape Foreman

David McGarey

I joined Geller’s in 2015, back when the landscape construction division was just five people strong. Since then, I’ve grown my skills and worked my way up to become a landscape foreman, with the privilege of contributing to countless projects across Manitoba.

What I love most about my job is being outdoors during the summer, transforming spaces into their best possible version and knowing they’ll be enjoyed for years to come. There’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing the impact of our work long after the tools are packed away.

When I’m off the clock, you’ll usually find me at the park with my little Pomeranian, Thor, lacing up for rec league hockey, or cheering on at just about any sports event Winnipeg has to offer.

Landscape Foreman

Roland Houliston

Project Manager

Braeden Guenther

I got my start in the industry at just 14 years old, working alongside my uncle in Vancouver. From those early days, I was hooked on the satisfaction of building something tangible and lasting.

What I love most about my job is watching a project take shape. From the first shovel in the ground to the final detail. Seeing that transformation each day is incredibly motivating, especially knowing that we’re creating spaces people will love and enjoy for years to come.

One of my proudest accomplishments was leading a 32,000 sq/ft paving stone installation for a legislative building in Regina, a project that challenged my skills and showcased what great teamwork can achieve.

I began my career in the industry back in 2011, starting with residential lawn maintenance. Over the years, my role has evolved, but one thing has remained the same, that my favourite part of the job is the people.

Whether it’s meeting a new client, welcoming a new team member, working with a sub-trade, or connecting with a supplier, I love hearing their stories and building those relationships.

Outside of work, I share life with two energetic yellow labs who are always up for an adventure. I spend much of my free time hunting, fishing, and exploring everything the outdoors has to offer always looking for the next great story to tell.

Construction Division Manager

Brandon Sutherland

Design Project Manager

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design at the University of Manitoba in 2024, with dreams of one day pursuing a Master’s in Water Management. I’m passionate about the way design can interact with natural systems — especially water — to create more sustainable, meaningful spaces.

Growing up, I moved every three years, and I’ve had the chance to travel often as I’ve gotten older. Those experiences have given me a deep appreciation for different cultures and design styles, something I try to weave into my work whenever I can. I’m always eager to keep exploring and gaining new perspectives, both professionally and personally.

In my downtime, you can usually find me reading, wandering Winnipeg on foot, or butchering beautiful music on my cello (enthusiasm: 10/10, skill level... a work in progress).

Kyra Kwiatkowski

I graduated from the University of Manitoba’s Environmental Design program in 2022 and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Landscape Architecture, also at the U of M. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I’m excited to continue growing in this field.

Originally from Thompson, Manitoba, I’m a proud northern transplant to Winnipeg. Growing up with the vast boreal forest as our backyard playground sparked my early love for natural spaces and ultimately inspired my path into landscape design.

When I’m not immersed in my studies or design work, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, on the golf course chasing a better swing, or riding the emotional rollercoaster of being a lifelong (and very patient) Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

Brady Ricketts

Design Project Manager

What drew me to landscape design is the way it beautifully blends aesthetics, functional planning, and creative problem solving.

My passion for plants and being outdoors led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Design & Urbanism, and it’s been the perfect fit ever since.

There’s something incredibly fulfilling about designing spaces that look beautiful and feel even better.

When I’m not designing, I love spending time with outdoors with my husband and two children. I also love challenging myself with new inversions in my yoga practice, always reaching for a little more balance and growth both on and off the mat

Design Project Manager

Alyssa Lambkin-Anderson

Gellers was my first introduction to the landscaping world back in 2017 and it sparked something big. That early experience inspired me to pursue a degree in Environmental Design at the University of Manitoba, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

What I love most about this work is the creativity. Designing spaces that are not only beautiful but also deeply personal and knowing that clients will enjoy them for years to come is incredibly rewarding. There’s nothing better than seeing their excitement as a vision comes to life.

Outside of work, I spend as much time as I can at the lake, especially in the sunroom with a good book in hand. I also share life with my standard poodle, Eddie...The world’s best reading buddy.

Lead Design Project Manager

Alyssa Auch

I began my journey into landscape design in 2012, when I enrolled in the Environmental Design program at the University of Manitoba.

From the very beginning, I was drawn to the way outdoor spaces could shape how we live, feel, and connect with the world around us.

What I love most about this work is the collaboration, the magic that happens when ideas are shared between coworkers and clients to create something meaningful and entirely unique.

Outside of design, I’m also the lead singer in a rock band!

Music has always been another way I express creativity and connect with others.

Senior Design Project Manager

Caila sveinson
