Our Team

I'm a licensed landscape architect with over a decade of experience from two Canadian design firms and consulting.

In recent years, I led a design team, handled business development, and created landscape designs for residential and commercial projects at a Canadian landscape design-build firm. Thrilled to join the Geller's team, I'm eager to contribute to crafting projects clients will adore.

Outside work, I'm into movies, family time, riding my Moto Guzzi Motorcycle, and enjoying time with my dog, Marley. 

I love landscape design because it combines aesthetics, functional planning and creative problem solving. I chose to pursue a Bachelor's degree in landscape design & urbanism because of my love & passion for plants and time outdoors. 

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, learning new piano pieces and working towards learning new Yoga poses. 

I started in the industry when I was 14. I worked with my uncle in Vancouver.

My favourite thing about my job is seeing a project go from start to finish. The visual progression at the end of each day is very motivating, knowing that we’re creating projects that people will love and enjoy.

My greatest accomplishment was working on a 32,000 sqft paving stone install for a legislative building in Regina.

My first job was landscaping at the age of 17.

At this job, I get to work with great people and build cool stuff. What's not to love?

Fun fact - I am a huge blues/rock fan!

I chose carpentry because my dad was a carpenter, so I've been around carpentry my whole life. What I enjoy most about my job is the crew of people who I work with and the opportunity to work with high end products. 

In my free time I like to take my dog Molly to the park, she rules!

I've been working with Geller's for the past 5 years and making your property shine is my specialty!

My absolute favourite part of the job is building patios, knowing that my project will be enjoyed for years to come in my favourite place to be - outdoors!

While working outdoors in the Manitoba heat is a dream, in the cooler months you can find me ice fishing almost every free chance I have!

Outside of work, you’ll find me curled up reading a good fantasy novel or sampling all the best cocktails in Winnipeg.  I love fishing, playing slo-pitch and recommending great date night spots in Winnipeg.  

I am a two time kitten foster fail (Captain & Sunday), and a one time fantasy football league winner. ​

After leaving my accounting career to 'go play in the dirt' I began working in Landscaping in 2013 obtaining my Red Seal in the Landscape Horticulture Apprenticeship program in 2016.

The thing I love most about my job is the look on the client's face when they see what their new yard looks like. 

While I spend my summers with Geller’s, in the winter I am one of 2 instructors teaching Landscape Horticulture Apprenticeship at Red River College Polytechnic. I began this amazing career in 2019 and I am proud to be teaching Landscape Journeypersons in Manitoba’s only green industry education program.
 
When I’m not working in client’s yards or teaching landscapers cool planty things, I enjoy working on my own private oasis, spending time with family, and going to rock concerts.

I started my environmental design degree in 2012 at the University of Manitoba, which was my introduction to landscape design.

I love being able to collaborate with my coworkers and clients on a project, so it becomes truly special and unique.

I am also the lead singer in a rock band!



 

I graduated from the University of Manitoba's Environmental Design program in 2022, and I am currently working towards my Master's of Landscape Architecture - also at the University of Manitoba.

I am a transplant to Winnipeg, am originally from Thompson, Manitoba. This is where my interest in landscape design was born, as my friends and I had the northern boreal forest surrounding the city as our playground. 
 
In my free time I love to cook and I am always striving to shave a few strokes off of my golf game. 
 
I am also a life-long suffering fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

My career in landscaping started on Vancouver island where the main focus was water management. I completed additional projects in Kelowna where the main focus was irrigation and I eventually became an irrigation technician.

The cold weather here in Winnipeg makes the base of a landscape the most important part of any project!

There is something really special about creating a beautiful space for people to enjoy being outside.

When I'm not working I enjoy any outdoor activity such as hiking, biking, camping and fishing. I have also recently picked up a pottery wheel. Learning to turn simple clay into something both beautiful and functional is something I really enjoy!

I started lawn maintenance in high school and transitioned into decks, fences and landscaping. Eventually, taking on concrete restoration and installation. All contributing factors in pool installation!

I love everything about my job and field of work, but if I had to choose one, it would be seeing the end result and clients satisfied and thankful for a job well done! I love seeing a pool install go from a big hole in the ground to a fully functioning fibreglass pool - along with the many important steps in between!

My proudest achievement would be becoming a father and watching my two kids grow up.

I've always loved working with my hands and that passion helped me achieve my Red Seal certification from Red River College.

I enjoy the challenge of building structures to stand the test of time so our clients can enjoy them for years to come.

In my free time you can find me fishing, playing hockey or settling in for a movie night to unwind after a long day.

 

I started in 1998 picking and shipping part orders at a truck dealership, then moved to shop cleaning and on to working on trucks.

My favourite thing about my field of work is solving problems on the variety of equipment in the Geller's fleet.

My greatest achievement is obtaining a Red Seal Journeyman Truck Technician certification.

Starting my media career in the recording booth of a small town radio station, I've been fortunate enough to work in several media roles.

I've been with Geller's since April 2024 and love seeing our stunning projects start from a small hole in the ground to a family's dream space where they can grow and play for decades to come.

In my free time you can find me playing or reffing hockey, walking my dog Annie or working on home renovations with my wife!

I've been in the industry since I was 15. I started Geller's by knocking on doors saying, "Hi, I'm Matt, and I would like to cut your grass."

I love the friendships I have made over the years with clients, staff and vendors working together to make outdoor living beautiful. I rarely sleep; I can’t wait to wake up and go to work!

In my humble opinion, the team we have put together at Geller's is the best damn landscape group in the industry. The greatest joy of my life is watching my son Beano grow up with my amazing wife, Madison.

Geller's was my introduction to the landscaping industry in 2017. It inspired me to get a degree in environmental design at the University of Manitoba.

I love having the ability to design really unique and creative projects that clients enjoy for years afterwards. Seeing clients get excited about their projects makes me excited!

I have a standard poodle named Eddie, and one of my favourite things to do is sit in the sunroom at the lake and read.

I started working in the industry in 2011, doing residential lawn maintenance.

My favourite thing about work is the people. Whether it's a new client, new staff member, sub-trade, or supplier, I love meeting new people and hearing their stories.

I own two yellow labs and enjoy spending my free time exploring what the world has to offer by means of hunting and fishing.

I joined Geller's in 2017 and worked as part of the maintenance division for 4 years before switching to the landscape construction division. The spaces we created led me to want to get my Red Seal in Landscape Horticulture which I received in 2023. 

My favourite thing about my job is that I get to do something different and learn something new each day by bringing new landscape products to our customer's yards. 

In my spare time I enjoy staying active. You can find me at your local YMCA, playing football or walking my dog, Leonard. 

When I was 15, my brother, Matt, introduced me to the industry. I didn’t really have a choice.

My favourite part is the people I work with and getting to see the unique projects we get to work on from start to finish.

My proudest achievement is marrying my best friend and the love of my life. I am also a 3-time fantasy football champion and 2-time fantasy hockey champion!

I started working with Geller's in 2022 but it doesn't really feel like work because I love what I do!

I cut grass, curate lawns and anything else I can do to make sure your lawn is up to par.

Outside of work, nothing gives me as much joy as spending time with my kids!

I started in 2012 cutting residential lawns and then transitioned to the Golf course industry for 6+ years.

I love making a difference on every property and watching all of our cultural practices come together and reach a common goal; the ultimate customer satisfaction!

I have a beautiful wife and 2 little boys that keep us very busy. I have a Red Seal in Landscape Horticulture and graduated from Fire Fighting College.

With over 20 years of experience in the construction and landscaping industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to every project.

Landscaping is not just my profession—it's my craft. I thrive on transforming spaces and take pride in delivering finished products that clients truly love.

Throughout my career, I've gained hands-on expertise across various areas of landscaping, allowing me to tackle projects of any scale or complexity.

When I’m not working, you can find me enjoying downtime at a dog park, exploring new destinations through travel, or hitting the ice for a hockey game.

I had worked my whole life in the travel industry until Matt approached me in May 2016 about coming to work at Geller's.

My favourite thing about this job is the people, of course!

I am the youngest of 6 children and growing up in our house, we had no choice but to cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs, as my Dad was their biggest fan. To this day, we still root for them… Go Leafs Go! I love spending weekends at the cabin with my daughter and partner, Darren.
