Job Role:

​

Introduce clients to the Geller’s suite of services in a B to C sales roll and facilitate the sale of Geller’s distributed products across Western Canada in a B to B roll.

​

Job Description:

​

Locally, your role will be to complete initial introductions and site meetings with perspective clients within our design and build division. You will create build estimates on site for enhancement style projects and pool projects while following through to the completion of the sale. You will also create design proposals, complete the sale with the client, and facilitate the introduction between the client and our design team. As needed, you may help within the sale of the build project in the future. This role will primarily be focused on inbound sales.

Geller’s also distributes a number of products across Western Canada. This will be primarily an out-bound sales roll, with a mandate to identify, contact, and pursue a relationship with landscape and pool companies across Western Canada.

​

We have built our business on relationship based sales, and have an expectation that our BDM focuses on building long term mutually beneficial relationships opposed to transactional focused sales.

​

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel approx. 5 nights per month, seasonally, throughout Canada and the USA

  • Ability to read, write and communication in the English language.

  • Ability to stand and work with your hands in a training format

  • Knowledge of the landscape and pool building industry from a sales and installation standpoint

  • 5 years of experience in a similar focused sales roll

  • High level organization and self-starter attitude

  • Valid Class 5 License and Canadian Passport
     

Daily Tasks Include:

​

Locally

     • Complete incoming client contact and discovery calls
     • Schedule site visits and introductory sales meetings
     • Conduct a site assessment, project analysis, and make recommendations based on

        meeting
     • Prepare proposals and pursue client commitment
     • Track sales success and life cycle using our existing software systems (ClickUp, LMN)
     • Continue to build a relationship with clients as their project continues through the design

       and build phases
     • Complete client walkthroughs upon the completion of their project, collect positive reviews,

        and build out upon our existing referral network.
     • Work as a liaison between the design team and other departments to ensure project

        feasibility, profitability, and accurate timelines
     • Place products orders as needed, and communicate with project management, design, and

        company ownership teams on a routine basis
     • Participate in trade shows to represent the Geller’s brand

     • Identify marketing initiatives and leverage personal networks to promote Geller's and further expand our reach
 

Western Canada:

     • Identify target companies throughout Western Canada
     • Conduct virtual introductory meetings and discovery calls
     • Work within a provided budget to schedule travel as required to various cities, maximizing

        time to meet numerous leads
     • Train, coach, and certify contractors to begin installing/selling products offered by Geller's
     • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with sub-contracted shipping companies to

        facilitate product shipping dates
     • Work towards sales targets while building relationships with all clients
     • Represent Geller’s products as a high-quality, cost competitive, common-sense decision
 

Required Skills:

  • Ability to use software programs such as the Google Workspace, LMN, Click Up, etc.

  • A thorough understanding of the construction process as it relates to resort style landscapes

    in the province of Manitoba

  • Extremely high level of organization and motivation

  • Ability and creativity to discuss projects on a collaborative level

  • Ability to understand landscape plans, carpentry blue prints, building plans, lot grading

    plans, etc.
     

Length of Employment:
     • Full time

Expected Hours:

  • Monday to Friday

  • 8AM - 5PM

    • Evenings are occasionally required, but we have focused on regular business operating hours

                 to provide time for family/personal endeavours

Expected Hours:

  • Salary will be a blend of a base salary and commission, with an expected yearly earned compensation package of
    $90,000 - $150,000

  • Commission based sales structure
